The iTunes 10 gets a new icon and feature called ping. It’s a social music discovery service for the music freaks out there.

“Ping is for social music discovery. Follow and be followed — artists will probably want to be followed by anyone, but you can set yourself to be followed by approval only, because maybe I’m particular. You can get as private and public as you want. The privacy is super simple to set up, anyone can do it.”
