Though feature rich Facebook is no longer sporting an intuitive user interface. Especially when you are new to Facebook, the all new Facebook Timeline feature and their geeky privacy policy page can scare the crap out of you. That being said mastering Facebook is not that difficult if you can spend time to learn basic feature set and other tricks associated with it. And talking about tips and tricks, keyboard shortcuts are the skill you should first acquire on your quest to become a Facebook ninja. These keyboard shortcuts lets users to navigate through the site quickly thus increasing productivity.

Unlike other social networking or micro-blogging sites like Twitter, Facebook doesn’t have a full-fledged keyboard shortcuts in place. The ones available are fragmented and it depends on the OS and browser you are using. So Mac and Windows users accessing Facebook via Safari, Chrome and Firefox will have to use different set of modifiers to play with keyboard shortcuts. Please pay attention to the modifiers used and rest depends on how well you memorize these numbers. Also remember that number shortcuts must be pressed from the number row as the ones on number pad just don’t work yet.
