Facebook page’s has been updated and this time around Facebook is introducing features like administration roles and scheduled posts. While the FB pages administration feature assigns different roles to the ones who maintain it, the latter allows admins to schedule posts to appear on Facebook page at a later time/ date. This is an interesting feature which was till date available only via third-party Facebook apps. With scheduled posts admins can manage their brand pages with less effort without having to publish everything all of a sudden. This sure makes Facebook as a media tool to get to brands audience at the right time with the right information.
Facebook scheduled posts feature available on brand pages can be accessed by administrators. Posts can be scheduled up to 6 months in advance and should have a 15 minute interval in between if you are planning to queue many posts. Also if you choose a date in the past, the post will appear immediately at the appropriate place on your FB Page’s timeline. Also it’s worth noting that all the times correspond to the local time zone you are currently located at the time of scheduling a post.
To get started prepare a post and schedule it to appear at a later date and time by selecting the same from drop down menu available near to the post sharing tool on Facebook pages. Follow the steps below to schedule posts and see the posts in queue.
How to schedule posts on Facebook page’s:
- Head over Facebook Page’s sharing tool and choose the type of post you want to publish.
- Click the icon in the lower-left of the sharing tool.
- Choose the future year, month, day, hour and minute when you’d like your post to appear.
- Click Schedule.
Once you schedule a post you can view it in your activity log. For this open your admin panel in the upper-right corner of the Page, click Manage and select Use Activity log. All the scheduled posts will appear at the top of your activity log and if required you can edit to change time and date, publish immediately or cancel a post.
