In our previous post we pitched that Gingerbread has been ported to Samsung Galaxy S. Now a developer over at XDA forum has ported Gingerbread (Android 2.3.1) to the mighty HTC HD2. The availability of Gingerbread ASOP ensured the cooked custom ROMs for major Android phones in market. It seems developers are pushing it as soon as possible.
This is build is based on ASOP Gingerbread (Google Nexus One kernel) . Though few features like Camera and Contact Sync won’t work as of now still this particular build looks promising. The connectivity is working with Bluetooth, 3G and Wi-Fi enabled. Even multimedia seems to work with audio and 720p playback possible. The Android 2.3 on HTC HD2 is fast with more responsive screen. Head over to the discussion thread and download the cooked CLRCAD.exe and haret.exe files to start playing with Gingerbread on HTC HD2.
