The Android OS stock music player is notorious for its dull and non-user friendly interface. In fact counting on that many cool third-party apps was introduced to Android Marketplace which we covered here long back. Check the top media players list for Android here. Good news for Android fanatics and kinda bad news (?) for all third-party media player app developers for Android platform that the music player which is supposed to be made available in the next version of Android 3.0 Honeycomb flavour has been leaked.
The leaked Honeycomb music player showcases a much improved UI that is both colourful and intuitive. The interface is kinda transparent with Windows 7 Aero like effect and a slider (landscape mode) to scroll through the album by viewing Album Arts available. The background changes when you change and skip through your playlist. The APK file available now for installing also includes an app called ‘JumperTest’ which is supposed to bring the much awaited wireless syncing features to native Android music player. It is inactive now but all arrows points towards that features once the app is out of beta version.
