Apple introduced 4-5 fingers multi-touch feature in iOS 4.3 Beta version which was made available for testing to developers. The complete features include multitasking tray with a 4-5 finger swipe up, switch between apps and return to the homescreen with a 4-5 finger pinch gesture. But with the final iOS 4.3 public release all these multi-touch features vanished.
Here is some good news for jailbroken iDevice owners who wish to enable multi-touch gestures on their iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. MT Gestures, a free tweak app that enables multi-touch gestures on devices running iOS 4.3.1 is available in Cydia store now. Once after installing the app you can switch on “Multitasking_Gestures” from iOS Settings panel. Please note that this Cydia tweak is now available for iPod Touch 4G only and the developer promises an update to support all other iOS devices.
MT Gestures is based on WinterBoard and is available via ModMyi repo in Cydia. Make sure you are running iOS 4.3.1 on iDevices and it is jailbreak enabled.
